Kailo Training Institute offers two non-secular programs at the Master's level. The programs are Masters in Counselling and Masters in Divinity. The online programs are structured into seven courses plus a thesis each which counts to a total of 40 credits. Students can work at their own pace. Although the courses are online there is regular interaction with facilitators to enhance the learning experience and to provide proactive guidance to ensure success in studying.

Course Delivery

Kailo Training Institute offers these dynamic online programs where we use mixed methods, including self-paced methods and interactive sessions to make your distance learning a vibrant experience.

Learners will be participating in supporting people and will be able to report on their activities and testimonies.

This postgraduate programme involves practical ministry and substantial research.

Duration

24+ months – part-time.

Structure

Two years have 7 courses, plus the completion of a thesis.

Before starting the year’s work you are required to complete a self-paced annual onboarding module to refresh your memory of general policies and procedures and to give you all the guidance to achieve success with your studies.

The main research question can be based on your counselling ministry such as working with children, families, trauma, bereavement and so forth.

This is a Christian Pastoral qualification, with a strong ministry-oriented focus. The qualification serves to provide adult learners with the knowledge/theory and application techniques for ministerial studies in their chosen field of speciality. It emphasises selected general knowledge and Biblical principles together with more specific methods and applications.

Entry Requirements

The first step for applying for selection for the Master's Degree programme is to complete an Expression of Interest form. Send your form, CV and other documentation to arrange a preliminary interview.

A limited quota of learners will be accepted for this postgraduate programme.

The Faculty Leadership reserve the right to select the most suitable candidates for this programme.

Course Recognition

This is a non-secular qualification. You will receive a Kailo Training Institute attendance certificate plus a Master's Degree from Commonwealth Open University.

Payment Plan

Kailo Training Institute is structured in a monthly payment plan to mitigate any concerns about financial risk.

Study fees are payable over a two-year period and a quotation will only be presented after successful completion of the selection process.

The quotation will reflect the following:

  • Application fee, Onboarding/ Introduction plus 7 courses plus the thesis.
  • Certification of degree.

(Only a limited quota of learners are admitted to  postgraduate studies programmes.)
