Do you have a Code of Ethics?

Kailo Training Institute adopted the Code of Ethics as presented by Inter Trauma Nexus and The Association for Christian Ministries:

As a learner in the Christian Pastoral Counselling Training Programme of Kailo Training Institute:

I SOLEMNLY PLEDGE myself to commit my life to the service of the Kingdom of God;

I WILL GIVE to my mentors and colleagues the respect and gratitude that is their due;

I WILL PRACTICE the help profession and calling with conscience, dignity and respect;

THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF MY CLIENT will be my first consideration;

I WILL RESPECT the secrets, which are confided in me, even after the client has died;

I WILL MAINTAIN by all the means in my power, the honour and the noble traditions of Kailo Training Institute;

I WILL NOT PERMIT considerations of age; disease or disability; creed; ethnic origin; gender; nationality; political affiliation; race; sexual orientation or social standing to intervene between my duty and my client;

I WILL MAINTAIN the utmost respect for human life and I will not use my knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity;

I hereby undertake that I will do all this to the best of my ability.
